Welcome

Hello and welcome to our little infosite!

On this site, you find portraits of some outstanding journalism schools worldwide. We hope you’ll find this useful for your decision where to apply.

Journalism schools, sometimes called J-Schools, are schools or university departments, where journalists are educated. Many of the most famous and respected journalists of the past had no formal training in journalism, but learned their profession on the job. However, nowadays in many parts of the world it is usual for journalists to first complete a professional journalism training which incorporates both practical skills such as research/investigation, interviewing techniques, excellent writing, and copy editing, and ethics.
